Maestro Ponti Previews Paducah Symphony's 'A Christmas Celebration'

It's Paducah Symphony Orchestra's most popular show, selling out four years in a row, "A Christmas Celebration" is this Saturday at 7:30 at the Carson Center in Paducah. Featuring the symphony and chorus, youth and children's choruses, Murray State Concert Choir and Murray Choral Society. On Sounds Good, Kate Lochte speaks with Maestro Raffaele Ponti about the program that starts at 7:30 p.m.

The program begins with "Wassail Song of Glaucestershire" arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams and moves into "Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas" by John Williams, then "March of the Toys" by Victor Herbert. The performance also includes seasonal favorites like "Jingle Bells," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "O Holy Night" and many others.

Maestro RaffaelePonti conducts "A Christmas Celebration" with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, it's Youth and Children's choruses, the Murray State Concert Choir and the Murray Choral Society this Saturday at the Carson Center. The concert starts at 7:30.
