A chef from Paducah is among the top six contestants competing in Bravo’s Top Chef Kentucky finale Thursday before the final four contestants head to Macau, China for the season finale.

Sara Bradley is the owner and chef at farm-to-table restaurant freight house in Paducah.

Bradley said competing on Top Chef has been “life-changing.” She said she never expected to end up in the national spotlight when she moved back home to Paducah to open up her restaurant.

Bradley is the only contestant from Kentucky featured in this season of Top Chef. She said there was added pressure to make her home state proud. She said she hopes her time on the show will draw people towards Paducah. “The hope is that people will come from all over and try dining at freight house and when they do that, their other money is elsewhere: at gas stations, at hotels at other people’s shops downtown,” Bradley said.

Viewers can vote Bradley as the “fan favorite” by going to https://www.bravotv.com/fan-favorite.

The episode airs tonight at 7/8 o’clock central.
