Underwriter Spotlight: The Grey Hare

Courtesy of The Grey Hare

Home to many specialty shops and galleries, Paducah is all about handcrafted artisan goods. There's a one-of-a-kind quality and style in these pieces that's easy to appreciate. And The Grey Hare Interiors celebrates that same art of quality craftsmanship with fine furniture, décor and accessories.

Owned by John and Tiffany Gust, The Grey Hare is located on the bottom floor of the old Ritz Hotel at 22nd and Broadway in Paducah. Giving new life to the historic space, the retail shop offers a selection of American-made fine furniture, including tables and couches, along with home accessories, like candles and lighting.

One of the many luxury lines found at The Grey Hare is Hickory Chair, a North Carolina based company handcrafting furniture with sustainable methods and style. You can also find individually designed lighting by Wildwood Lamps and Accents available in store. Add to this mix scents like Sweet Honeysuckle and Pink Grapefruit from Trapp Candles, and an artisan ambiance is set.

It's easy to see that John and Tiffany love what they do and stand behind the quality of the brands they carry. And that feeling of unmatched quality extends to their public radio home, "We underwrite on WKMS because we feel good supporting the things we love." Through underwriting, John and Tiffany support their favorite programs like Morning Edition and Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. If you share their love of these programs, feel free to stop in at The Grey Hare and thank them for supporting quality craftsmanship found both at WKMS and in-store.

They're open Tuesday through Friday, 10 until 4 and Saturdays by appointment. More information on Facebookor at
