Grab your bike and gather with riders of all levels to tour some of Paducah's most notable spots in this series of laid-back, leisurely-paced, family-friendly rides. Rides are about 10 miles long and no rider is left behind. We'll start and finish in the library parking lot. Bring your helmet!

Welcome to the world of pure imagination with this tasty Broadway and West End musical based on the famous novel and hit movie.

The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka’s army of curious Oompa-Loompas.

Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features an original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. The score also pays homage to the Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley score from the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including “The Candy Man,” “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket,” “Oompa Loompa Song,” and “Pure Imagination.”

The region’s premier flea market is held on Mondays at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds, March through November, from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (set-ups can begin at midnight).

Trade Days originally began as “Mule Days” in the 1800’s, when locals came to trade mules and equipment. Today, you’ll find a little bit of everything and some great bargains too!

Playhouse in the Park presents: The Wizard of Oz

Sing your heart out! Prepare a 45–60 second song from any musical.

Brary Bear's Story Time is provided every Tuesday at 10am & 1pm from Labor Day to Derby Day, with the exception of city school closings.

Story Time is presented as an early learning curriculum by bringing children's books to life through puppets, skits, songs, and merriment with his pals, Dr. Duck and Lady Dragon! Hip Hip Hooray!

The sky is the limit with this workshop - multimedia &/or 3D….but you know it will include FUN in a multiage, low stress, process oriented environment.

Get into the fall spirit with this fun and cozy craft night! In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of needle felting — using wool roving and special barbed needles to sculpt and shape soft, fuzzy creations.

Step by step, we’ll guide you through making your very own adorable felted mini- pumpkins. No experience needed — this is a beginner-friendly craft that’s as relaxing as it is creative.

We’ll provide everything you need:
Wool roving in gorgeous fall colors
Felting tools and supplies
Guidance to make your pumpkin unique

A perfect craft night to enjoy with friends — you’ll head home with a handmade pumpkin that will look great on your fall table, shelf, or as part of your autumn décor!

Cellist Leland Ko has been described as someone with “disarming charisma” by the South Florida Classical Review and has performed as a soloist and a chamber musician in venues across America and abroad. Ko is an alum of Princeton University, the Julliard School, and the New England Conservatory.

The audience will be seated onstage for this performance.

Storytime is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesdays at Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, 1101 Bethel St. Storytime has returned to the first floor of the library.

Join us as we share a few stories, sing, dance and play! For preschool-age children.
