Looking for a relaxing and creative way to spend your Thursday? Join us for a fun and friendly group, where you can bring your current projects, share ideas, and learn alongside others. This group is open to beginners as well as more experienced Fiber Artists. Meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.
Gather your supplies and enthusiasm for crocheting and knitting as you connect with fellow enthusiasts in a fun social setting.
Everyone 18+ is welcome to register for Bunco! The McCracken County Homemakers host this event. You do not need to be a homemaker to attend, but you can always join! There is a $10 entry fee, payable at the door. Bring a snack to share. Beverages will be provided. Register online by March 17, 2026

-Tables to spread out as needed-Climate controlled environment-Can be quiet or chatty! Bring headphones to catch up on your favorite shows or listen to an audiobook.-Most importantly — we have snacks. We’ve got all kinds of K-cups and cookies for an evening pick-me-up.-Plus! Shehan and Mari-Alice are on hand to help as needed. Between the two of them, they have a reasonable amount of experience with crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, sewing, and a teeny tiny little bit of embroidery.
Yarn and Yap meets at 5 p.m. Thursdays at Hopkinsville-Christian Co. Public Library. They meet upstairs. Elevator access is available.
Dark Reads Book Discussion Group will next meet 5:30-6:30 p.m. March 19 at Hopkinsville-Christian Co. Public Library, 1101 Bethel St.
This month’s selection is “Sisters in Death: The Black Dahlia, The Prairie Heiress, and Their Hunter,” by Eli Frankel. A limited number of copies are available for check out at the HCCPL Front Desk. For ages 18 and older.

“Beekeeping for Beginners” will be the presentation on Thursday, March 19, at 6:30 pm, held at the Calloway County Extension office meeting hall, located at 93 Extension Way in Murray.
