Nov. 30 performance is at 1st Presbyterian, 6 pm; Dec. 1 is at Playhouse in the Park, 2 p.m. In honor of National Hospice Month, Playhouse in the Park's senior acting troupe presents two productions of The Way Home by award-winning writer Constance Alexander. The spoken word opera tells the stories of two women -- one from Calloway and the other from Trigg County -- and their experiences fighting cancer. The Way Home has been produced throughout Kentucky and also around the country, always as a fundraiser for causes associated with women's health and the uninsured. Stables Realty Group of Murray will host a reception after each performance, so audiences can talk with the actors and the playwright. There is no cost to attend but donations will go to the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.
