Two suspects are behind bars following a seven-month investigation involving two bank robberies in west Kentucky.
Qwentin Banks and Jayson Collier, both of Clarksville, Tennessee, were arrested on local warrants.
Banks was arrested in Clarksville last weekend by the US Marshals. Collier was arrested in April and faces unrelated robbery charges in Ohio County, Kentucky.
Both are held in the Montgomery County Jail in Tennessee and face two charges of first degree robbery in relation to the Hopkins County investigation. They face 15 to 20 years in prison for each count.
Two US Bank locations in Morton’s Gap and Hanson were robbed in February and March respectively.
Multiple agencies were involved in the investigation including the Secret Service and the FBI.
Police are not releasing at this time the amount of money stolen from the banks.
