A former west Kentucky high school fishing coach has pleaded guilty to attempted sex abuse and possession of child pornography.
John Parks served as a volunteer fishing coach at McCracken County High School. He admitted to each charge through a plea agreement at a hearing Thursday in McCracken Circuit Court. As part of that deal, nine counts of possession of child porn were dismissed.
Parks will be sentenced at a hearing on April 17.
