Crittenden And Calloway Schools Set Delayed Start Date

Crittenden County and Calloway County schools have set delayed back-to-school dates. 

Crittenden County Schools’ first day will be August 25th. Calloway County Schools is set to begin August 24th. 

Both schools released public statements explaining the later start dates allow the districts to participate in the Variable Student Instructional Year Calendar, allowing at least 1,062 hours of instructional time.

Calloway County Schools has removed fall break and added an extra week off during the first full week of January. Spring Break will remain as scheduled.

Crittenden County students have the option to participate in online or in-person learning.  The school board will share a survey July 10 - 19 determining parents’ intent toward in-person or virtual learning. 

Both school districts have an online registration option available on their website.
