The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning several daytime lane restrictions on the Eggners Ferry Bridge throughout the week.
Beginning Tuesday morning, the US 68/KY 80 bridge over Kentucky Lake will be restricted to one lane starting at 7AM and will last about 10 to 12 hours.
The closure is to allow a contractor to pour concrete for construction for piers on the bridge.
The contractor plans daytime restrictions each day on the same general schedule through Saturday. However, hours may change somewhat due to weather conditions, temperatures, and work requirements.
Motorists are advised to use caution near on either side of the bridge. Traffics delay may last up to 5 minutes.
