Alaric Williams, academic affairs vice president at Minot University in North Dakota, spoke on Murray State University's campus Thursday as one of the finalists for the school's provost post.

Rose Marie Wood is the third of four finalists to interview for the position of Murray State University's provost. At a town hall meeting Wednesday, Wood said she thinks Murray State is 'blessed,' expressing enthusiasm for the opportunities the school is pursuing surrounding the planned veterinary medicine program and the possible medical school program.

Laurie Couch is the second of four finalists to interview for the position of Murray State University's provost. At a town hall meeting Tuesday, Couch said while she is not an expert in artificial intelligence, she wants to infuse it into every academic program.

The first of four finalists to be Murray State University's next provost was introduced at a town hall meeting on Monday. Kimberly Paddock-O’Reilly is currently the provost at Chadron State College, the same institution that MSU hired president Ron Patterson from.
