As 2014 comes to a close, Calloway County Public Library's Sandy Linn recounts this year's achievements and next year's new programming. Toward the end of each month, Linn visits Sounds Good to renew awareness of what's happening at the Calloway County Public Library.
She says this was a big year for the library, due largely in part to the establishment of the Friends of the Calloway Public Library organization and their successful first book sale.
Looking ahead to 2015, Linn says she's working with several partners on new activities including:
- A community discussion read of Will Schwalbe's "The End of Your Life Book Club" with the library's book club, to be held in January
- A Civil War movie night series
- A LEGO club for all ages
