KSP Arrests Clarksville Homicide Fugitive After Pursuit Ends In Lyon County

Kentucky State Police arrested a Clarksville homicide fugitive after a pursuit Monday night ended in Lyon County. 

Trooper Will Propes was on patrol on I-24 in Marshall County when he saw a black BMW speeding eastbound. He attempted to stop the vehicle, but ended up pursuing it through Marshall, Livingston and Lyon County.

The BMW exited at the 40 mile marker and collided with a pickup truck an an intersection. There were no injuries.

The BMW driver and two occupants fled on foot. Two were arrested within minutes and the thurd was taken into custody 90 minutes later.

Kelly Marques, 25, of Clarksville was wanted for homicide in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was charged with speeding, reckless driving, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, two counts of fleeing or evading police, cocaine and marijuana possession, criminal mischief, wanton endangerment, and being a fugitive from another state. He is lodged in the Christian County Jail.

Dequantis Crouch, 20, of Clarksville was charged with fleeing or evading police, cocaine and marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession.

Cemage Garrard, 26, of Clarksville was charged with fleeing or evading police, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), trafficking in a controlled substance - cocaine and possession of marijuana.

Crouch and Garrard are lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
