Traffic will be restricted to one lane on the I-24 Ohio River Bridge between Metropolis, IL and Paducah starting Monday. Initially it will be for eastbound traffic only. Twenty bearings will be replaced. Tuesday morning, east- and westbound traffic will be stopped at each end of the bridge for 10 minutes between 5 and 6 a.m. This is to do prep work for the bearing replacement.
