Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal House Fire

One person is dead following a house fire early Sunday morning in Lyon County. Patricia S. Hoss, age 80, was pronounced dead at the scene after the Kuttawa and Eddyville fire departments responded to a report of the fire on Lake Barkley Drive. Investigators believe Hoss died as a result of the fire, but are awaiting confirmation from an autopsy scheduled for today. The cause of the fire is being investigated, but no foul play is suspected.
