Monday, February 9

Michael Ramage, associate director for the Center for Telecommunications Systems Management at Murray State University, discusses the latest idea of "net neutrality" -- regulating web access as a public utility -- and what this might mean for consumers and communications companies.

Gospel music's only blind drummer, Ricky McKinnie of The Blind Boys of Alabama, talks with Kate Lochte about the 7 decades-long success of the group, which performs in the Clemens Fine Arts Center of West Kentucky Community and Technical College this Friday.

Tuesday, February 10

Dr. Michael Bordieri of the Murray State University Department of Psychology expands our series "Understanding Depression" with a look at other topics in psychology.

This one-hour special examines the relevance and meaning of civil rights in the 21st century and the relationship between the Civil Rights Movement and the efforts of women, other people of color, and the LGBT community to expand our traditional definitions of equality. The program is hosted by Charles Dutton. 

Wednesday, February 11

Puppies Sound Good! We'll meet a featured adoptable puppy from Kathy Hodge at the Humane Society of Calloway County.

We hear about overcoming adversity and rising to one of the most important academic positions in the state from the Council on Post Secondary Education's Aaron Thompson.

Thursday, February 12

Paducah Symphony Orchestra's Raffaele Ponti previews A Lincoln Portrait, this Valentine's Day at The Carson Center.

Dr. Rob Robertson gives us an overview of Jimmy Nichols Clay Botanicals at the Yeiser Art Center, this Saturday through March 28.

Friday, February 13

Friday, the 20th, Murray Main Street hosts another 7 round trivia night at the Murray Banquet Center, and its manager, Deana Wright, brings more information to Sounds Good.

Dr. Don Robertson and Caroline Atkins stop by to talk about campus diversity.
