Union City, Tennessee’s Discovery Park of America has announced a more than half million dollar expansion with the addition of the Children’s Discovery Garden.
The expansion, located on the north end of the property, will include more than 23,000 square feet of space where children can learn, explore and play. The Discovery Garden will feature a labyrinth, a giant chess/checkers set, an outdoor classroom and a fossil-embedded pathway.
A groundbreaking is expected to take place soon, with the entire attraction set to be completed by sometime in the first quarter of 2017.
The Discovery Park opened nearly three years ago and has welcomed more than 718,000 visitors thus far.
