Visitors to downtown Paris, Tennessee can now use an app on their mobile device to find shopping and dining, find events or go on an audio-assisted walking tour.
Tony-award winning actress and Paris native Cherry Jones narrates the tour, sharing details about historic buildings and other locations. Jones donated her time for the project.
The Downtown Paris Association launched the self-titled app last month. Executive Director Kathy Ray said in a news release it has been in development for nearly a year.
It is free in the iPhone and Android app stores.
