Kentucky State Police Arrest Morganfield Police Chief

A western Kentucky police chief is behind bars on corruption charges. The Kentucky State Police arrested 41-year-old Morganfield Chief of Police Craig Bolds Thursday in Union County. 

KSP Drug Enforcement/Special Enforcement West Branch received a complaint of a possible theft at the Morganfield Police Department.

Bolds was charged with Abuse of Public Trust, Failure to Make Required Disposition, Theft by Unlawful Taking (under $500) and three counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking (more than $500 but under $10,000).

An investigation is ongoing.
