The former City Clerk of Kuttawa arrested last week in east Tennessee is set to appear in court on Thursday.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Jay Thomas said Katie Harrison is currently held in the Sevier County Jail. She is under a KSP investigation for ‘financial irregularities’ from Kuttawa’s general operating fund and community events account.
KSP has active arrest warrants on her and are waiting for her to go through the extradition process. Thomas said Harrison’s husband, Clayton Harrison, was arrested on local charges and Katie surrendered soon after.
The Sevier County Jail website lists them as both fugitives from justice. Clayton Harrison is also set to appear in court on Thursday.
