A former McCracken County Jail worker was sentenced Wednesday for 12 months in prison on sexual abuse charges.
McCracken County Jailer elect David Knight said Chad Campbell pleaded guilty to charges stemming an incident that occurred at the jail when he was employed there.
Deputy Circuit Court Clerk Dawn Snelling said Campbell was charged with harassment, sexual misconduct and official misconduct.
Knight said Campbell will not serve his jail time in McCracken County because that is where he worked when the incident occured.
