Lawyer For Former McCracken County PVA Asks For Probation

MCCRACKENKY.COM

The lawyer representing former McCracken County Property Valuation Administrator Nancy Bock is asking that Bock receive probation instead of jail time.

Bock pleaded guilty in April to stealing over $5000 dollars from the county through forged travel vouchers and unauthorized credit card transactions. Bock’s lawyer argues in a motion filed last week, that Bock should receive probation instead of jail time because she doesn’t have a previous criminal record, has paid back the money she stole, and "has paid dearly for her wrong doing."

The lawyer is asking that other options be considered, including completing 250 hours of community service and completing therapy. Bock's lawyer declined to comment until after Bock's sentencing on July 29.
