Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying partial human remains and related clothing items found in western Kentucky’s Lake Barkley.

A release from KSP Wednesday states the human remains were found Sunday along with a black and blue Nike Air Max shoe, a pair of grey thermal pants, a pair of black jeans, and a black belt. The release also states the remains and clothing were found in the lake north of the U.S. Route 68 bridge.

Those with information about the remains or clothing can call KSP Post 1 at 270-856-3721. Anonymous tips can also be made through the KSP app or by calling 1-800-222-5555.
