The Henry County School System is searching for a new director of schools after the resignation of Dr. Brian Norton earlier this month.

The school board called a meeting last night, and discussed its options in finding a new director. Dr. Norton's current contract ends on July 1st.

Henry County School System Federal Programs Director Dr. Susan Burton said that the school board approved using the services of the Tennessee School Boards Association in their search, contingent on funding.

TSBA is a nonprofit education organization that exists to assist Tennessee school boards in various capacities.

Dr. Burton said that if they can find the funds, TSBA's services are expected to cost about $6,500.
