Erin McKean takes a look at one hundred famous (or infamous, depending on your personal style) types of dresses in the extremely fun, The Hundred Dresses. From the Addicted to Love, to the Marilyn, to the Space Empress, to the classic Wrap Dress, each style has its own personality, as well as recommended accessories and designers. Readers will recognize each style, whether it is a dress they have in their own closet, one they wore to the prom, or one they saw their mother wearing in photos from the ‘80s. McKean emphasizes the importance of how a dress makes the wearer feel and what the right kind of dress can do for a woman’s self-confidence. The Hundred Dresses is a light, fun read that will definitely be enjoyed by any fashionista.
