Kentucky State Police arrested on Monday a Murray attorney on an indictment warrant for two counts of theft by failure to make a required disposition of property of $10,000 or more.

KSP Trooper Jay Thomas said 72-year-old Joseph Bolin faces two Class C Felony charges.

An investigation began earlier this year when a victim contacted the KSP and alleged that Bolin had not made all of the required disbursement payments in a probate case he was overseeing.

Thomas said the seven-month-long investigation revealed that Bolin failed to disburse over $900,000 on multiple probate cases.

Additional charges could be presented at a later date as Detective Michael Robichaud continues an investigation.

Thomas said anyone who feels they were a victim of Bolin should contact the KSP.

Bolin was lodged in the Calloway County Jail with a cash bond of $50,000 dollars.
