We catch up with former WKMS Newsman Jim Burress who is a guest speaker for the Arthur J. Bauerfeind College of Business at Murray State today, describing his career path which took him to WABE Atlanta and frequent reporting in areas of business and aviation for Marketplace.  

Murray-Calloway Endowment for Healthcare's Half Marathon is April 18th and our guest, the Endowment's Vice President for Development, Keith Travis, visits with the details.

Tuesday, April 7

Murray State Theatre conjures Shakespeare's The Tempest Thursday through Sunday in Robert E. Johnson Theatre of Doyle Fine Arts, and we learn about the production from Director Daryl Phillipy.

He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
