The Children’s Nutcracker is a festive holiday tradition brought to life by talented young dancers of CCDE and local performers. This charming production captures the magic of Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet through enchanting choreography, colorful costumes, and a heartwarming story perfect for all ages. The Children’s Nutcracker is a delightful celebration of the season that inspires wonder, imagination, and holiday cheer.

The Children’s Center for Dance Education is a regional touring youth ballet organization. Founded in 1995 and based in Evansville, CCDE has forged a new model for a ballet organization through innovative programming, artistic excellence, and extensive community outreach, rooted in the belief that every child should dance.

Auditions for local dancers, tumblers, and non-dancers at all levels to be held September 27.

Celebrate the joy of the season with the MCC Singers Christmas Concert, a festive evening of music presented by volunteer singers from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for music and a love of singing together. Filled with holiday favorites, classic carols, and joyful harmonies, this beloved annual tradition captures the true spirit of Christmas.

Before or after the performance, be sure to visit the Anne P. Baker Gallery to enjoy the enchanting “Glitter, Glisten, Glow” display of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, adding an extra touch of holiday magic to your experience.

Known around the world for its eclectic repertoire and dazzling virtuosity, the Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer has been hailed by the Boston Globe as “breathtaking in its accuracy of intonation, purity of blend, of color and swagger of style.” Founded in San Francisco in 1978 by singer and musicologist Louis Botto, Chanticleer quickly took its place as one of the most prolific recording and touring ensembles in the world, an “orchestra of voices” performing thousands of live concerts and selling more than one million recordings.

On the first Wednesday of every month, Project DieHard hosts a Fellowship Breakfast for the public at the IHOP on James Sanders Blvd. in Paducah. Veterans eat for free.
