Murray State University partners with American Red Cross to host two blood drives on Tuesday, October 28, and Wednesday, October 29, from 10 am to 4 pm in the Curris Center's 3rd floor ballroom.

Introducing an after school class for younger kids! Only one hour, we will have a theme for the week and plenty of supplies for process-led, open-ended imagination and crafting!

Each Thursday evening, from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M., Breaking Bread Dinner Church will provide hot meals to go at the Aaron McNeil House in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Support for the program can be made through St. John's Methodist Church in Hopkinsville.

Cinema International is part of Murray State University’s educational mission and hosts a post-screening discussion for every film. Admission is free. All screenings are in Faculty Hall 208 at 7:30pm.

In this horror/comedy/romance/martial arts mashup, a young street sweeper with a tragic past joins a government agency that fights vampires in Hong Kong. As he trains to become a vampire hunter, he falls in love with a seemingly innocent vampire girl, who may or may not be able to regain her humanity. Drawing on Chinese vampire mythology, Daoist spirituality, and Western zombie and vampire films, Vampire Cleanup Department—like Hong Kong itself—lives at the intersection of multiple worlds.

Not during Family Weekend but during Homecoming this year, but still gives you time to get your trick or treating done! Come out to the hour long fundraiser concert for the Music Department where we see how many ensembles can perform in just one hour! Fall Fanfare will be October 31st at 8 p.m. in Lovett Auditorium. Tickets can only be purchased at the door and are $10 per person, but children 5 and under get in free.
