Brary Bear's Story Time is provided every Tuesday at 10am & 1pm from Labor Day to Derby Day, with the exception of city school closings.

We don't discuss any particular movie or show; we want to talk about whatever you've been watching! As we may discuss some rated R movies, this program is intended for ages 17+. We will provide refreshments and snacks for those who join us.

Get moving in the new year! Join us for Chair Yoga every Wednesday beginning on January 15th from 10 - 11 am. This low-impact class will be led by certified instructor, Suzi Renaud. There is a $3 fee for each session. Just show up, no registration is needed! Pay at the door.

Between the two of them, they have a reasonable amount of experience with crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, sewing, and a teeny tiny little bit of embroidery.Yarn and Yap meets at 5 p.m. Thursdays at Hopkinsville-Christian Co. Public Library. They meet upstairs. Elevator access is available.

Join Christine Wielgos, Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service as she discusses the dangers of various winter weather types and explains ways for you to prepare and stay safe in the winter season.
Wielgos received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University. She has worked with the National Weather Service in Paducah KY since March 2000. As Warning Coordination Meteorologist, Christine's responsibilities include ensuring consistency and integrity of National Weather Service products and services, conducting safety and preparedness programs throughout the area, leading education and training courses for partners and the public, as well as occasionally working the forecast and warning operations desks.
